Report:
D.V.S. College of Commerce had arranged “Workshop on Communication Skills”, for all the students. The workshop was organized with an aim to inculcate awareness and adoption of necessary and effective communication among students.
Dr. Vineet Joshi, Assistant Professor, SIS College was called as guest speaker for the event. The lecture focussed on the basic concept of Communication, while emphasizing on understanding of human communication for the development of society. He further elaborated on communication process divided into three basic components, namely verbal, non-verbal and paralinguistic, broadly influenced by thoughts, ideas and emotions.
The main motive of this interaction was to enlighten the students with the use of correct English and its importance. The students were encouraged to ask questions and were answered by the Professor with clarity and patience.
The seminar was attended by 45 students from the college and Vote of Thanks was proposed by Mr. Ravi Jagtap.
