Dnyan Vikas Sanstha’s D.V.S. College of Commerce had organized sports day from 02nd Jan to 4th Jan, 2017 in college ground. The event was inaugurated by Adv. P.C. Patil Sir, President, Dnyan Vikas Sanstha and Shree. Moreshwar Patil along with other committee members by lightening the lamp on 02nd Jan, 2017.
Sports committee incharge Mr. Ravi Jagtap had made all the arrangement of indoor & outdoor to conduct the events in a smooth manner.
The following sports events were organized on sports day:
- Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Girls cricket, running, Carrom
- Shot put, dodge ball, volley ball, long jump, chess
- Badminton, boys cricket, langdi.
The competitions were held on different days for the students to show their talents.
The students participated in large numbers with full enthusiasm and courage.
After completion of all the events on last day i.e. 04th Jan, 2017, prize distribution ceremony was arranged to distribute medals & certificate to the winners and runner ups. Ms. Jayshree Patil, Member, Dnyan Vikas Sanstha and Ms. Aparna Patil, Principal, D.V.S. Marathi medium School and other committee members of sanstha were invited as a Chief Guest to distribute the prizes to the winners.
The Events ended by appreciation of participants by Dr. Nidhi Verma, Principal, D.V.S. College of Commerce. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Ms. Jetal Ahir.
